Who can un/lock topics/threads?
The administrator, moderators and the topic/thread starter can un/lock the topics/treads whenever they want or when the topic/thread violates the site’s rule.
What happens when a topic/thread is locked?
No one can post to a topic/thread after it is locked except the administrator and moderators.
What happens when a topic/thread is unlocked?
Posters/users can once again post to that particular topic/thread after it is unlocked.
What if the topic/thread is a poll? Can a user un/lock it?
Same goes for a poll topic/thread. The administrator, moderators and the poll starter can un/lock the topic/thread.
What happens when a poll topic/thread is locked?
No one can post or cast their votes in that particular poll topic/thread except the administrator and moderators.
What happens when a poll topic/thread is unlocked?
Once again, the same thing applies here. Posters/users can post and cast their votes after that particular poll topic/thread has been unlocked.
